rains murder .....
April 26th, 2008What could an eighty one year old geezer have to talk about in any chat room if the only exciting thing he ever did in his life was (years ago, at age 44) to up and leave a good job with a great future, a beautiful home in sunny California, and take his family to live in a remote place like Juneau, Alaska where it seems only to rain or snow? Well, one thing he did was to write a book about his adventure, but he threw in a few fictional murders to make it all the more interesting. He self-published his book in Southeast Alaska and sold more than 1,000 copies there locally, most of them from a display on the checkout counters of the town's grocery store. The title of his book is “It Rains MURDER Sometimes in Juneau” and it’s available at Amazon.com. At his website: www.rainsmurder.com you can read about him and his adventure; and if you want to hear his thoughts about visiting or living in Alaska you can chat with him here or you can e-mail him at: irving@gci.net
